Milton Keynes is located just south of Milton Keynes and is famous throughout the UK for being a ‘new city’ and at the same time a city of contrasts and diversity. Accessibility Milton Keynes is located just off the M1 centrally between London and Birmingham providing excellent road access to both the North and the South of England. Regular trains also run from various points throughout Milton Keynes to London Waterloo and Birmingham New Street. There is a full bus service operating within the city.

Entertainment Milton Keynes has numerous restaurants and there is also a generous quantity of bars and night-clubs catering for every age group. The famous Milton Keynes National Bowl is host to many big name stars such as David Bowie, Michael Jackson, Robbie Williams and many more. Xscape is one of the ultimate indoor entertainment centres comprising of a ‘real snow’ ski slope, indoor rock climbing wall and a 16 screen cinema multiplex, all under one roof. There is also an ice rink and some beautiful parklands.

Shopping Milton Keynes is famous for its shopping and people travel from throughout the region to take advantage of Europe’s longest shopping mall ‘The MK Centre’ which contains all of the familiar High street stores combined with smaller boutiques and specialist shops. Shopping however is not limited to the MK Centre or central Milton Keynes and a wide verity of shops can be found in the surrounding old towns such as Stoney Stratford and Newport Pagnell.
Sport and Leisure There is a large choice of sporting activities in Milton Keynes and with a variety of fitness clubs, swimming pools and even greyhound racing at the Milton Keynes Stadium. In short, you will never be left with nothing to do!

Education. The area provides a wide spectrum of educational facilities at all levels including over 80 primary schools, 6 secondary schools, a couple of 6th form colleges and a number of adult education colleges. The city also benefits from having a university.
Employment. There are many small businesses offering employment to people with a broad band of skills. The area is also home to some major employers such as E.D.S., Daimler Chrysler, Abbey National, and a host of others including major retail, financial and manufacturing companies.
